IIT JEE 2015 to have Open Book test
After hundreds and thousands of coaching classed coming into picture with different formats and dozens of recommended books all over it has been virtually impossible for students to decide what to study and what not.
Keeping this in mind, the management of IIT Mumbai, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur and many other came on a unanimous decision that IIT JEE 2015 will be an open book test. This decision has brought cheer in to the face of many students but disappointed a few.
When an Afwaah.com reporter talked to some students she found mixed bag of emotion coming. A frustrated class 11 student who has been working hard said that although he was confident in cracking IIT as it needed 20-45% scores in general to do so, he is sure that he will not be able to make it up as now he has to read where organic chemistry and trigonometry and thermodynamics topics located in his notes.
On the other hand a student, Jugnu Lal who has been preparing for it for past 3 years is confident to be in a top 100 list. When asked he said. “I have been struggling with speed for last 2 years but now, I know which topic is where in the book, IIT has been a cake walk for me.” Jugnu Lal had a dream to study in IIT Delhi and has already looking which area he should be staying after clearing the test.
Although this was considered to be a slam on the coaching institutes, they are planning to launch a new course material which will be more costlier than classroom courses now. But these text material are perfect recipe for success. Coaching classes claim that their index will been made so customized that a student can search for solution to a problem in a jiffy.
So by now those of you aspirants have realized that this was just a bluff news, should get back to their books and those who didn’t should read some of the other stories on afwaah.com and bluff their friends 😛 😉
